I’m in the Product Development Team at Ballard with a background in mechatronics. Since joining in 2013 I’ve been involved in the HyMotion program, and it makes me proud to see our products delivered. The relationships you build at work can be just as rewarding as the projects; we have many interesting personalities and I’ve definitely made some lifelong friends.

My hobbies are skiing and kiteboarding, which takes me to Squamish year-round. I’m also an experimental home brewer, though my secret talent is random trivia.

Say, did you know that the sonic boom equivalent with light is called Cherenkov radiation? It is the blue light associated with nuclear reactors and occurs when particles move faster than the speed of light in water.
