Marine Modules

Ballard’s 200 kilowatt system, FCwave™, is designed to provide zero-emission power to marine vessels.  The culmination of product development and field experience based on more than 100 million kilometers of heavy-duty vehicle operation, Ballard’s FCwave™ fuel cell module is tested and certified by DNV for operation in marine environments. The module is scalable from 200 kilowatts to megawatts to suit a broad range of marine applications.

• FCwave™ includes a secondary protection barrier, which separates ATEX Zone Class 2 zones from non-hazardous zones. This means the entire installation room would not require a 'Hazardous Zone' classification
• Certified to stationary fuel cell power generation requirements as per EU, ATEX and CSA standards
