I joined Ballard in 1995 and I’m the Director of Research. I have both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UBC and an Executive Certificate from MIT in Strategy and Innovation. To me, innovation is about doing things in a new way that provide value, and it is the essence of what we do at Ballard. It is important to me that the work I do is meaningful, and after 22 years, I still love my job; because I get to work with an incredibly dedicated and engaged group of people and we are continuously advancing the technology and seeing the results translate into longer lasting, high performing products.
